My name is Evelyn and I am the owner of XTRA & CO.

Xtra & Co was created with my little sister, Geraldine in mind. Losing her in 2005 due to Leukemia has done a lot of damage to me and my family. Grieving someone you love is really hard and it has taken me a lot of years to be able to talk about her. Which is why I created Xtra & Co. Not only does this give me an an outlet to express myself creatively but to also pass on what she has left me behind. She has taught me to live this life free and authentically. She was that type of girl who was never afraid to be herself and I always loved that about her. She was bold and definitely XTRA!

So here at Xtra & Co we solely want to inspire others and show you all that it is important to always be you. We are unique in our own ways and no one should ever dim our light. These oversized scrunchies are an accessory that displays boldness, uniqueness and self love. Our XTRA scrunchies are a staple piece to have in your daily wardrobe. All pieces are handmade in Alexandria, Virginia with care, detail and love.

As I continue this journey I hope that I can also inspire many of you and show you that if I can do it, you can too! Being a Latina business owner, I want to be the best for you guys and always show you that no one can stop you!

A lot goes into Xtra & Co but it makes me so happy to know I have the support of my lovely family, friends and customers. It makes me feel like I'm doing exactly what I need to be doing in my life. Thank you for following this journey of mine & I'm excited for all of you to be on it with me!
